Caramel
Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This short caudiciform grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stem is caramel, and is dotted with small orange spines. The straight, olive trunk can grow to as much as 2 feet (61.0 cm) in diameter in the middle. Its yellow branches trail down to the ground and start growing halfway up the stem.
The thick bunches of wavy-edged, long, tapering leaves are either light grey or vibrant green, with drab red dots. They are strong, and take little effort to detach.
It is fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are lilac on the underside and bronze on the top, grow at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is largely flat with handfuls of tightly layered round-tipped petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like apple.
The caudiciform's skin is extremely thick, the olive flesh is rough, and the cream sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
Several parts of the caudiciform have medicinal properties.
