Bloodgrass

Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This big, gray grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in sparse patches that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, blood red tuft.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.

It can survive a long time without water.
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
