Orangebind Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized, orange grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are strong and tough and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, pink tail.
During the early summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
It can absorb up to 17 times its own weight in water.
It is suitable for making strong rope
