Silver Sky Blue Tree

This short tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 198 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a slender, wavy trunk covered in smooth, silver and white bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is black.

The branches are short, rigid and upright and are covered with very large amounts of sticky, miniature, perforated leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are generally sky blue.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, silver, spiky-shelled seeds.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
