Bluefire Vine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This large bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 155 feet (47.2 meters) and growing as high as 137 feet (41.8 meters).

It takes 3 years for the green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 10 inches (25 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The long, narrow, rough leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are blue on the edges and bright orange at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces balls of small light grey flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces lots of small fruits.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
