Bluevine
Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This big flower grows up to 2.3 feet (71 cm) tall. Its blue stems grow in bunches of 3 and are very thin and straight, and the giant, pink-red leaves are asymmetrical with serrated edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
Dozens of large flowers grow in bunches along the stem. The flowers are 17 cm (6.7 inches) wide, with cyan petals on the lower layer and yellow petals decorated with violet dots on the inner layer. The central disk is olive. The flower head is shaped like a cup with 12 raised, narrow petals. They are sturdy.
It has the faintest scent that smells like pepper, and it has very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also particularly attractive to bees.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
All parts of the vine are edible.
