Blueleaf Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This large tree grows up to 67 meters (219.8 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 153 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, wavy trunk covered in thin, wrinkled, brown-green bark, and inside, the very light wood is pine-coloured.

The tangled mess of branches are short, rigid and upright and are covered with very large amounts of waxy, small, sickle shaped leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are solid hazel or sky blue, with bronze zig-zags.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, florescent yellow, tough-shelled seeds.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
