Pinktop Grass

This small, lime green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are rigid and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, pink spikelet.

During the mid-summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.
