Azureberry
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)This modest-sized tree grows up to 33 meters (108.3 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 185 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has a wide, slanted trunk covered in smooth, dark gray bark, and inside, the very dense wood is dark brown.
The tangled mess of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with large amounts of rough, tiny, wispy leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are found in green and amber varieties.
In late summer it forms large, azure berries.
The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
Ivy often grows along the trunk.
