Copperactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This massive cactus grows up to 125 feet (38.1 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 6 very narrow, elongated stems. Each stem is yellow-green, and is covered in sharp spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with copper petals and a yellow center grows at the top, reappearing after 5 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a sphere made up of 6 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a soft scent that smells like pot-purri.

The cactus's skin is thick, the brilliant purple flesh is waxy, and the light orange sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
Ivy often grows along the trunk.
