Crimson Petal

This short flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its gray stem is thin and splits into numerous branching stems halfway up, and the miniature, orange leaves are thin with smooth edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Lots of medium-sized flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with petals that are dark grey on the underside and crimson on the top. The flower head is made up of several petals in raised layers. They are sturdy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like petrol, and it has excessive amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
