Speckled

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This big tree grows up to 67 meters (219.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 660 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a stocky, straight trunk covered in delicate, smooth, brown-green speckled bark, and inside, the light wood is mahogany-coloured.

The branches are short stubs and are covered with copious amounts of waxy, tiny, fan-like leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are yellow and azure.

In late summer it forms giant, washed-out orange seed pods.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between filled with undergrowth.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
