Aqua Violet Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This modest-sized tree grows up to 26 meters (85.3 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 55 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.
It has a long and flexible, slanted trunk covered in fine, ridged, light brown bark, and inside, the soft wood is mahogany-coloured.
The branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with large amounts of sticky, huge, stiff, pointed leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are violet at the bottom and aquamarine with green splotches at the top.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, orange, spiky-shelled seeds.
The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.
