Caramel

Flower type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This enormous flower grows up to 14.2 feet (4.3 meters) tall. Its copper stems grow in bunches of 6 and are wispy and straight, and the large, caramel or lime leaves are pleated with rounded edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Each stem splits 6 to 11 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 26 cm (10.2 inches) wide, with solid orange petals decorated with copper dots and a brilliant orange central disk. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight trumpet. They detach easily.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like freshly baked bread, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by a variety of insects.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
