Bluevine

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized tree grows up to 33 meters (108.3 feet) tall and lives "forever", with many known specimens being tens of thousands of years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a very thick, straight trunk covered in fine, knobbly, light brown bark, and inside, the very dense wood is white with black speckles.

The branches are short and thin, with hundreds of twigs covered with small bunches of miniature, sky blue needles. The needles themselves are flexible.

In late summer it produces giant, cyan aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.

It is very rare outside of a particular area.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
