This cyan moss is commonly found growing in large clumps On trees, and In marshes.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is slightly hardy.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
