Aquamarine Willow

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized tree grows up to 19 meters (62.3 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 522 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, straight trunk covered in knobbly, dark gray bark, and inside, the very hard wood is pale brown.

The excessive amount of branches are very long and thick and are covered with small amounts of soft, huge, long, narrow leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of orange-yellow that gradient shifts to azure at the top.

In late summer it forms small, cream aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

Offering it in a bouquet is supposed to bring good luck.
It has impressive regenerative properties.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
