Silvervine
Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This big shrub grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall and lives for around 16 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has numerous sturdy, wonky stems covered in cracked, silver and white bark, and the wood inside is white.
The branches are very long, thin and wispy that and are covered with sparse amounts of large, wispy, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of lime green that gradient shifts to azure at the top, delicate and smooth.
In mid-summer it produces large amounts of giant, orange blossoms with teardrop-shaped shaped petals. They detach easily and have a powerful scent that smells like onion.
In early autumn 8-shaped fruits ripen. The waxy blue skin is thin and inedible, and the crunchy cream flesh is savoury and syrupy. The black seed is very large and is in the centre of the fruit.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
