Sunset Glow

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) tall. Its orange-yellow stems grow in bunches of 4 and are very thick and straight, and the giant, yellow-green leaves are very narrow and elongated with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 44 cm (17.3 inches) wide, with solid pink petals decorated with violet dots and a red central disk. The flower head is made up of 18 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight tube. They are hardy.

It has a weak scent that smells like ashes, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
