Bluegrass

This large, lime green grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The spear shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, bright blue tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.
