Aqualis Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)This small tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 289 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a branched, crooked trunk covered in hard, smooth, brown-green speckled bark, and inside, the very hard wood is yellow.
The sparse amount of branches are long and thick and are covered with very large amounts of sticky, tiny, sickle shaped leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are solid blue with silver edges.
In early spring, it produces a thick sheet of medium-sized, aquamarine blossoms with 6 pointed petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have a strong scent that smells like a newborn baby.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, yellow, spiky-shelled seeds.
The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
