Cyanbell

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 49 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has several long and flexible, angular stems covered in thin, ridged, burgundy bark, and the wood inside is pale yellow.

The branches trail down towards the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of miniature, asymmetrical, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are found in bright yellow and lilac varieties, resilient and leathery.

It produces lots of giant, cyan flowers with perforated petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have a fairly strong scent that smells like cinnamon. In midwinter it forms largebeige, tough-shelled seeds.
