Cyanvine

This giant bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,923 feet (890.9 meters) and growing as high as 496 feet (151.2 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 30 years for the lime stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3.7 feet (1.1 meters) and are rough and gnarled.

The thin, sticky leaves reach up to 3.8 feet (1.1 meters) in length. They are cyan at the bottom and purple with grey splotches at the top, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the bine produces dozens of small bronze flowers.
