Crimson Grass

This short, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in thin clumps that are resistant.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, blood red puff.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
