Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In rainy mountain ranges, and In rainforests.
It is huge, growing up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly light; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores.
