Duraconifer
Tree type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for over 3,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 3637 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a sturdy, straight trunk covered in thick, waxy, light gray bark, and inside, the very hard wood is mahogany-coloured.
The branches are short stubs, with hundreds of twigs covered with small amounts of giant, red or sky blue needles. The needles themselves are strong.
In late summer it produces tiny, grey, winged seeds that float and land far away.
The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
