Blue Cube Petal

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) tall. Its red stem is very thin, and the tiny, lime green leaves are very thin with tattered edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

Each stem splits 2 to 5 times; a single tiny flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 10 cm (3.9 inches) wide, with light brown petals and an intense blue central disk. The flower head is shaped like a cube with 43 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They detach easily.

It has a strong scent that smells like soap, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
