Olive
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This large cactus grows up to 78 feet (23.8 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 5 thick stems. Each stem is lime green, and is covered in handfuls of rigid olive spines.
It is steady-growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with each petal a slightly different shade of washed-out yellow grows at the top, reappearing after 4 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 42 curved petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like something putrid.
The cactus's skin is very thick, the olive flesh is sticky, and the light green sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
It is suitable for making strong rope
