Bronze Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 49 feet (14.9 meters) and growing as high as 87 feet (26.5 meters).

It takes 5 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The sickle shaped, sticky leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are peach on the edges and copper at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thousands of average bronze flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of tiny seed pods.
