Bluebell Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This massive creeper is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,896 feet (577.9 meters) and growing as high as 962 feet (293.2 meters).

It takes 13 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1.3 feet (38 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The thick, waxy leaves reach up to 2.4 feet (74 cm) in length. They are blue on the sides and aquamarine at the center, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thick bunches of average dull red flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces lots of large berries.

It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
