Bluevine
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized tree grows up to 53 meters (173.9 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 163 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.
It has a stocky, straight trunk covered in thin, waxy, pine-coloured bark, and inside, the soft wood is pale brown.
The small handful of branches are short stubs and are covered with small amounts of crispy, miniature, asymmetrical leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are generally subtle blue.
In late summer it forms tiny, orange, tough-shelled seeds.
The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
