Copper

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 459 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, crooked trunk covered in ridged, silver bark, and inside, the light wood is pine-coloured.

The numerous branches are short stubs and are covered with large amounts of fuzzy, huge, asymmetrical leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are found in copper and olive varieties.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, light grey berries.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for making strong rope
