Climbing Goldvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters) and growing as high as 28 feet (8.5 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 3 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and waxy.

The perforated, clammy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are cyan and red, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces large amounts of large gold flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of small fruits.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
