Orange Blossom Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This small tree grows up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 219 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, crooked trunk covered in delicate, smooth, brown bark, and inside, the hard wood is pale brown.

The branches are short and thick and are covered with large amounts of smooth, tiny, long, tapering leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are florescent orange and blue.

In early spring, it produces thick bunches of medium-sized, orange blossoms with many layers of petals. They fall easily and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like varnish.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, red, shelled seeds.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It is suitable for making strong rope
