Violet Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 7 feet (2.1 meters) and growing as high as 95 feet (29.0 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.
It takes 4 months for the slate and green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are thick and twisted.
The long, narrow, waxy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are olive at the bottom and lilac with violet zig-zags at the top, and have jagged edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces balls of small lilac flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of small seed pods.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
