Caramel Tree

This big tree grows up to 65 meters (213.3 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 141 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, wonky trunk covered in wrinkled, light brown bark, and inside, the very hard wood is burgundy-brown.

The branches are short and thin and are covered with sparse amounts of crispy, small, wispy leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either turquoise or caramel, with peach patches.

In late summer it forms small, olive, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
