Amberleaf
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This giant tree grows up to 93 meters (305.1 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 408 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a branched, twisting trunk covered in thin, waxy, light brown bark, and inside, the very light wood is brown.
The branches are short stubs and are covered with sparse amounts of clammy, miniature, broad, flat leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are found in amber, light brown and indigo varieties.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, deep orange berries.
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
