Purple Puffgrass

This small, vivid purple grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are delicate.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, pastel orange puff.

During the early winter, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
