Caramelvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 48 feet (14.6 meters)0. It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 16 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The thin, smooth leaves reach up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) in length. They are found in caramel, pastel orange and white varieties, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many average yellow flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny fruits.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
