Emerald Flame Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In rainy mountain ranges, and In damp forests.
It is large, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is overwhelmingly sturdy.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.
