Violet Succulent
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This big leaf succulent grows up to 85 feet (25.9 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is green, and is dotted with small grey spines. The bubbly leaves are slate on the sides and violet at the center. Copious amounts of them grow on flat, moss green branches that trail down towards the ground. The leaves are light, but do not detach easily.
It is slow growing, taking 6 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with cream petals and a copper central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 32 petals. It has a weak scent that smells like perfume.
The leaf succulent's skin is rock-hard, the dark grey flesh is rough, and the silver sap is thin.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
