Copper

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This short flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its copper and emerald stem is thick and splits into dozens of branching stems halfway up, and the large, emerald leaves are stiff, pointed with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Dozens of giant flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with solid pink petals decorated with purple lines and a magenta central disk. The flower head is largely flat with several raised narrow petals. They are hardy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like blood, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.

It comes in 8 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
