Beige Maple
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 152 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has a slender, wonky trunk covered in ridged, brown-green bark, and inside, the light wood is yellow.
The numerous branches are long and slender and are covered with small amounts of smooth, huge, needle-like leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are slate on the edges and beige at the center.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, pale red, winged seeds that float and land far away.
The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.
