Azureleaf

This short tree grows up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 118 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, wonky trunk covered in thick, smooth, gray bark, and inside, the very dense wood is white.

The abundance of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with copious amounts of clammy, giant, stiff, pointed leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are azure on the sides and hazel at the center.

In late summer it forms giant, green, shelled seeds.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with patches of undergrowth between them.
