Browngrass

This modest-sized, brown and orange grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in thick clumps that are resilient and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, yellow puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
