Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 33 feet (10.1 meters) and growing as high as 764 feet (232.9 meters).

It takes 8 months for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The slender, pointed, fuzzy leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are sky blue at the bottom and hazel with dark brown lines at the top, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces dozens of large vivid green flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a few very large berries.
