Bronze

This large flower grows up to 6.0 feet (1.8 meters) tall. Its silver stem is very thick, and the giant, brown leaves are dark green on the underside and are needle-like with ripped edges. 9 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

4 to 10 large flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 24 cm (9.4 inches) wide, with petals that are either intense orange or bronze, with a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 petals. They are hardy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like old books, and it has very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.
