Ambervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 38 feet (11.6 meters)0.

It takes 12 months for the gray stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The needle-like, leathery leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are a shade of dark brown that gradient shifts to amber at the top, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of colossal drab orange flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of large seed pods.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
