Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This colossal creeper is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,510 feet (765.0 meters) and growing as high as 103 feet (31.4 meters).
It takes 47 years for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1.9 feet (58 cm) and are smooth and waxy.
The slender, pointed, rough leaves reach up to 3.8 feet (1.2 meters) in length. They are solid hazel with caramel patches, and have jagged edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces copious amounts of tiny purple flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces lots of small berries.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
