Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This giant bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 3,388 feet (1,032.7 meters) and growing as high as 345 feet (105.2 meters).

It takes 21 years for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3.7 feet (1.1 meters) and are smooth and woody.

The very narrow and elongated, rough leaves reach up to 2.6 feet (79 cm) in length. They are found in blood red and bronze varieties, and have ripped edges.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
